Therapeutic Childcare Staff

Ensuring Children Receive Quality Care During Families’ Most Difficult Times

Trained to Accomodate Different Developmental Milestones

Every staff member at Jeremiah's Place is equipped with the necessary skills and experience to provide individualized care to each child.

Our therapeutic childcare staff members' areas of expertise include:

  • Trauma-Informed Care
  • Crisis Intervention
  • Emotional Regulation and Redirection
  • Reflective Practice
  • Sensory Processing Disorders
  • Suicide Prevention
  • Picture Exchange Communications
  • Basic ASL (American Sign Language)
  • Pediatric CPR and First Aid

Staff members become familiar with each child by reviewing their individual Service Plan and "Getting to Know You" form before their arrival to our center. These documents provide information including ages, disabilities, behavioral notes, dietary restrictions, likes, and dislikes to prepare inclusive daily activities and meals that best suit each child.

Our therapeutic childcare staff are trained to adjust crafts and activities to accommodate different developmental milestones to enrich all children’s experiences at Jeremiah's Place. We strive to celebrate each child's differences by recognizing their unique qualities and building upon them while in our care.

Our staff is determined to ensure every child feels a sense of community and acknowledgment, even in group settings.
