JereCare Family Program

Engagements to build strong communities and families

Regulary Scheduled Events to Create Strong Communities and Stronger Families

The JereCare Family Program includes monthly, bi-monthly, and annual events that allow caregivers to connect with one another and resources from our community partners.

  • Monthly, Jeremiah's Place hosts a Mom Support Group and a Father Support Group. These events allow caregivers to share their experiences over a provided meal while childcare is offered. Trust and advice are exchanged as parents discuss life events and obstacles.
  • Our bi-monthly events are for the entire family and feature guest speakers, activities, giveaway items, and dinner. Each event is themed based on caregiver feedback. Previous themes have included Financial Literacy, Stress Management, Nutrition Education, Winter Safety, Halloween Safety, and more.
  • Our annual event is the Jeremiah's Place JereBear Fair. This fair, hosted in the summer, is open to the public and features free food, music, games, activities, raffles, and resource tables from community organizations.

All JereCare Family Programs are free to attend. If you are interested in attending, please call 412-924-0726 and speak with a member of our Strong Families Team to learn more.
